Video: Everyday Noise and Kitten launch the Birdhouse Sessions!

3 Jun

This past Tuesday, Everyday Noise headed over to the Birdhouse, the home of Costa Mesa-based The New Limb. Adam Chavez, producer/sound engineer and drummer for The New Limb, has opened up the band’s in-house studio for our bi-monthly Birdhouse Sessions featuring stripped-down performances by local bands/musicians.

We started off the first installment with Chloe Chaidez, pictured, lead singer and guitarist of LA-based Kitten. Before playing the Everyday Noise show at Detroit Bar, her and manager Chad Anderson hustled down the long freeway in a Jeep (most likely humming the Indiana Jones theme song) from Pasadena in rush hour traffic. They got to the Birdhouse just in time, and Chaidez was ready to go. She performed a couple songs solo acoustic, including favorite “Kill The Lights,” which you can watch below. Expect a podcast and another video real soon. Also, the video below includes some footage of Kitten performing at our Detroit Bar show. Now, get to watch’n.
